Events
St. Pete Pride Parade and Street Festival

The St. Pete Pride Parade and Street Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The parade is held in June and draws over 200,000 visitors! It’s the largest LGBTQ parade in Florida and the largest parade in the St. Petersburg area. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to bring alcohol, inline skates, laser pointers, radios, skateboards/scooters, fireworks, weapons, or pets to the event.

LGBTQ Film Series

The LQBTQ Film Series is a unique event that takes place every month at the LGBTQ Resource Center in the Gulfport Public Library. Attend one of the film nights while you’re in town! They take place on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to arrive early for the best seats.

Dining
Gulfport has its share of delicious restaurants and local breweries. After attending St. Pete Pride or another fun event, stop at Green Bench Brewing or Three Daughters Brewing and relax in a fun, laid-back atmosphere! Then, proceed to dinner at one of the top restaurants in Gulfport. You can even dine at the Historic Peninsula Inn; Isabelle’s, not only our in-house restaurant, is one of the best places to eat in Gulfport.

Gulfport is charming and quaint. It’s also a fabulous artistic hub! If you’re looking for a unique art experience, you’re in the right place. Peruse numerous galleries like the Chihuly Collection and the Dali Museum, which is home the largest collection of Salvador Dali’s work outside of his hometown in Spain.
